The cost of transfer depends on the Mode of transfer principally, Type of Aircraft, Distance of the travel and special equipment Usage Like IABP, Incubator ECMO etc The patient’s physical condition and the distance to be travelled will determine the form of transport – for eg; in case of critical patients they will require well equipped charter flights as Air ambulance while stable patients can opt for transport via a commercial flight. You will be required to provide us with a case summary following which our consultant will discuss the case with your treating doctor. Following patient evaluation, a senior consultant from our company will determine the best mode of conveyance. The final selection rests with the patient and attendants based on the options available and information provided.
This depends on the respective locations of the patient and the selected hospital. Ground ambulances, are usually deployed immediately on receiving a call. In case of air transport, an EMSOS- authorized aircraft can fly off within 2-3 hours of your call provided the patient’s location is close to a landing strip that can accommodate our aircraft. Airlifts also depend on weather conditions as well as take-off and landing clearance by the Indian Air Traffic Controller. In case of commercial Domestic transfers it takes around 2 working days and for international commercial transfers it takes around 4 to 5 working days.
Principally Detailed summary of patient stating the diagnosis and current status of Vitals are needed and in case of international transfers Passport And Visa copy and the details of Ambulance (Ground) is needed with details of the receiving hospital in the transfer country.
Yes we can. However, if and when your patient is placed on the transplant list, we recommend that you contact us as soon as possible. This will save valuable time when an organ becomes available and the patient needs to be rushed to the hospital. In cases where an organ donor is a relative and the transplant date is planned, the standard procedure for scheduling patient transport can be followed.
Only in case of International Repatriations some companies do Pay but not in Domestic sector except when u have exclusively signed for it.
On a Charter 2 to 3 and in Commercial as many people depending upon the seats available on e has to buy the ticket. We do inform about the Flight for transfer and sometimes we can also help getting Tickets.
